A Russian Byzantine style illustration of the key moments in the final chapter of Christ’s life, also known as the ‘Passions of Christ’. Starting with the last supper – followed by Christ’s betrayal, His arrest and subsequent torment that ended in crucifixion – and until the Lord’s burial, these significant moments are depicted in small illustrations surrounding one of his resurrection that is the centerpiece of this art piece. Russian art.

Η « Ανάσταση του Χριστού ». Κύριο θέμα της ρώσικης εικόνας είναι η Ανάσταση του Χριστού. Δώδεκα μικρότερες παραστάσεις του θείου Πάθους, περιβάλλουν την εικόνα της Ανάστασης. Ο αγιογράφος είναι άγνωστος, όπως και ο τόπος όπου αυτός δραστηριοποιήθηκε.
