An illustration depicting a Greek religious festive celebration by the artist Christos Kangaras. With the exception of one and-a-half year training in Byzantine iconography (at Mount Athos in Greece), Kangaras was considered a self-taught artist and his style was known as ‘popular art’ depicting themes that represent local Greek culture.

Η « Θρησκευτική γιορτή » είναι έργο που ανήκει στη λαϊκή τέχνη. Ο Χρίστος Καγκαράς είναι αυτοδίδακτος ζωγράφος, ο οποίος γεννήθηκε στη Γρανίτσα της Ευρυτανίας.
