A portrayal of Goddess Athena (on the left) face to face with Jesus Christ (on the right). Aristefs studied with the artists Volonakis, Prosalentis, Roilo, Nikiforos Lytra and the sculptor George Vroutos. He later worked alongside Nikolaos Gyzis in Munich. After his studies in Athens with G. Roilos, Nikiforos Lytras, and C Volanakis he continued his studies in Munich with N Gysis.

Η « Αθηνά και ο Χριστός », είναι έργο του Φρίξου Αριστέα, ο οποίος μαθήτευσε κοντά στους ζωγράφους Βολονάκη, Προσαλέντη, Ροϊλό, Νικηφόρο Λύτρα και τον γλύπτη Γεώργιο Βρούτο. Στο Μονάχο συνεργάστηκε στο ατελιέ του Νικόλαου Γύζη. Ο Φρίξος Αριστέας πέθανε στην Αθήνα το 1952, σε ηλικία 73 ετών.
