The huge Crucifix represents Christ almost in natural size. Christ is lying dead with his head inclined to the left. On the four corners of the Cross are depicted the eagle, the man, the lion and the ox with the scull of Adam under the feet of Christ. The Cross is adorned with elaborate series of leaves. General view of the nave of the iconostasis in the Katholikon. The central and south part of the iconostasis are the original. The north part of the iconostasis was destroyed and replaced recently by a copy of the south aisle of the iconostasis. The original iconostasis was made in the 16th century and is contemporary to the church. It is one of the very few examples of 16th century woodcarving which has survived in Cyprus.

Annas and Caiaphas are sitting on a throne in council and before them a table with leaf of paper and and an ink-pot. The secretary has written already on the paper while a host of Jewish people behind him are watching to see the end. This icon is of exceptional detail and art. Twelve rays proceed from a disc towards the heads of the Apostles who are seated in a semi-cycle. In the middle the allegory of a crowned man, the World is holding a white nap open to show twelve closed scrolls.
