Description
Judas is betraying Christ who is surrounded by many servants of the High Priests. At the bottom of the icon, Peter is attacking a servant cutting his ear. The icon is found on the south aisle of the iconostasis in the Katholikon and belongs to the enriched cycle of Dodecaorton. Dimensions 35 x 43 cm. Painted by Joseph Chourri.
Ο Ιούδας προδίδει με φίλημα τον Χριστό που είναι περικυκλωμένος απο υπηρέτες των Αρχιερέων. Στο κάτω μέρος της εικόνας, ο Πέτρος ρίχνει κάτω τον Μάλχο και του κόβει το αυτί. Η εικόνα αυτή βρίσκεται στο νότιο κλίτος του εικονοστασίου και ανήκει στον διευρυμένο κύκλο του Δωδεκαόρτου. Διαστάσεις 35 x 43 cm. Έργον Ιωσήφ Χούρρη.
