The festive stamps depict Santa Claus with his well-known laugh written in letters, Santa Claus' sleigh full of presents and Rudolph lighting up the night with his red nose for the most important journey of the year, carrying presents for children all around the world during the most festive night of the year.
The stamp with a religious content, depicts the opening of a cave where the Virgin Mary is seated on the left holding the newly born Christ swaddled in a shroud inside the manger. Joseph is depicted kneeling on the right, and an angel is standing behind the manger. The natural scenery depicts the Three Wise Men and the Annunciation of the Shepherds and a star and a group of angels appear in the sky holding a scroll on which the words "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men" are inscribed.
The icon is located in the Holy Church of Saint Savvas and was painted at the hagiography workshop of the Monastery of Saint George Alamanos in the late 1950s, according to the Nazarene style and by using the oil painting technique.
