Τhe 22c stamp illustrating details from the representation of the Birth of Christ originates from the 16th century icon belonging to the small shed like Church of Agios Nikolaos in the village of Klonari in Lemesos.
Nearly all the walls of the Church are covered with paintings from the 16th century and the iconostasis is a fine example of carved and painted woodwork of about 1620.(Rupert Gunnis, Historic Cyprus p.275)
