Old limes in St. Athanasios of the last century. The land of St. Athanasios abundant in limestone and gypsum, that's why several people involved with the production of lime and gypsum. The limes operated until the 1970s and it is not known when it stopped working,
Παλιό ασβεστοκάμινο στην περιοχή του Αγίου Αθανασίου από τον περασμένο αιώνα. Η γη του Αγίου Αθανασίου αφθονούσε σε ασβεστόπετρα και γυψόπετρα γι’ αυτό αρκετοί κάτοικοι ασχολούνταν και με την παραγωγή ασβέστη και γύψου. Τα γυψοκάμινα λειτούργησαν μέχρι τη δεκαετία του 1970 ενώ είναι άγνωστο πότε σταμάτησαν να λειτουργούν τα ασβεστοκάμινα.
