Description
Christ stands in the center with his right hand stretched out towards Pilate and his left hand holding a scroll. Christ wears a blue chamys and a purple garment. Pilate and his servant are placed in front of an aedicula. Pilate is seated on a stool trimmed with pearls and stretches both hands away from Christ. The servant holds in his left hand a white pan. The group on the left, consisted by soldiers and Jewish elders, is placed in front of a building. It is a scene of the "Passion Cycle". The wall - painting is found on the upper zone in the Naos of the Enkleistra.
Ο Χριστός βρίσκεται στο κέντρο, έχοντας το δεξί του χέρι απλωμένο προς τον Πιλάτο και κρατώντας με το αριστερό του χέρι ένα κλειστό ειλητάριο. Είναι ντυμένος με μπλε χλαμύδα και μωβ χιτώνα. Ο Πιλάτος και ο υπηρέτης του είναι τοποθετημένοι μπροστά από το πραιτώριο. Ο Πιλάτος κάθεται σε ένα σκαμνί στολισμένο με μαργαριτάρια και τεντώνει τα δύο του χέρια μακριά από το Χριστό. Ο υπηρέτης κρατά με το αριστερό του χέρι ένα άσπρο σκεύος. Στα αριστερά τους βρίσκεται μια ομάδα από στρατιώτες και Εβραίους γέροντες. Η σκηνή ανήκει στον θεματικό κύκλο "Τα Πάθη του Χριστού". Η τοιχογραφία βρίσκεται στη δεύτερη ζώνη στο Ναό της Εγκλείστρας,
