Description
''Charadrion'' is called the stone bed of Saint Neophytos to denote the hard surface with no mattress. On the north wall two small niches served as a place to put his ink-pot and feather. This space was painted with colored circles and Crosses. His office is covered with a marble slab and has an arched opening in front and at the back.
Χαράδριο ονομάζει ο Άγιος Νεόφυτος την κτιστή κλίνη του, η οποία είναι στρωμένη με πλάκα. Στο βόρειο τοίχωμα διασώζονται δύο μικρές κόγχες όπου ο Άγιος έβαζε τη πένα και το μελάνι του. Ο χώρος ήταν ζωγραφισμένος με έγχρωμους κύκλους και Σταυρούς. Το γραφείο καλύπτεται από μαρμάρινη πλάκα με καμαρωτό άνοιγμα μπροστά και πίσω.
