Here we have an illustration of a bronze cauldron from the Iron Age (1100-700 B.C.) resting on a tripod 70 cm. high. It was discovered in tomb 79 at Salamis, This was an age when massive immigration from the Aegean world was transforming Cyprus into a predominantly Greek speaking land.
