On 18th December 1965 the United Nations General Assembly adopted Resolution 2077(xx) on Cyprus, and having recalled all the S ecurity Council Resolutions of 1964 and 1965, and parts of the Declaration adopted on 10th October 1964 by the Heads of State or Government of the Non-Aligned Countries regarding the question of Cyprus: Took cognizance of the fact that the Republic of Cyprus was entitled to enjoy and should enjoy full sovereignt y and complete independencewithout any foreign intervention or inter ference and Called upon all States to respect the sovereignty, unity, independence and territorial integrity of the Republic of Cyprus and to refrain from any intervention directed against it, and Recommended to the Security Council the continuation of the United Nations mediation work in conformity with Council Resolution 186 (1964)
