This year marks the 50th anniversary (1971-2021) of uninterrupted presence and contribution of the State theatre to the cultural affairs of Cyprus. The Theatrical Organization of Cyprus is growing and preparing for the next 50 years, remaining faithful to its original mission, which is none other than the promotion of drama art in our country.
Through the cooperation of THOC with the Cyprus Post, a simple and elegant stamp was created, combining the logo of the 50th anniversary and the poster of Agamemnon of Aeschylus, one of the two inaugural productions of the Organization. The stamp will travel throughout Cyprus and abroad, to convey the anniversary message of THOC.
