Description

The cat (Felis Catus-Feline) is an animal that belongs to the Feline family. It is one of the most popular pets and perhaps the only domestic feline. It has lived in the human environment for at least 9,500 years. Can be trained to obey simple commands.
The cat's hearing, sight and smell are very acute and in combination with agility and flexibility, they make it a diligent predator as it hunts over 1000 species of animals for food.
There are approximately 30 - 40 recognized cat breeds. The cat gives birth to 3 - 8 kittens and usually lives from 14 to 20 years.
