Description

A world – class athlete known for her achievements in track and field. She is often described as the “Golden Girl” of Cyprus as she competes internationally for the country and already won numerous metals. She maintains the Cypriot records in 100m (11.37) and 200m (22.61). Some of her countless achievements are:
2005: Won Bronze in 100m at the European Athletics Junior Championships in Kaunas
2005: Won two Gold in women’s 100m and 200m at the Games of the Small States of Europe.
2008: Represented Cyprus at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing where she was classified among the World Championships Finalists
2009: Won the Gold medal in 200m and Bronze in 100m at the Mediterranean Games in Pescara (Italy)
2009: She represented Cyprus at the12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics in Berlin
2010: She represented Cyprus at the European Athletics Championships in Barcelona where she ranked 6th in 100m
2012: She represented Cyprus at the 2012 European Athletics Championships in Helsinki where she ranked 7th in 100m
2012: She represented Cyprus at the 2012 Olympics In London where she entered the Semi-Finals
2013: Won Gold in 200m, Silver in 4x100m relay, Bronze in 100m at the Mediterranean Games in Mersin.
