Green Monday people in Agios Athanasios used to go out in the fields in big groups and have fun till late in the afternoon. They put the tablecloth on the ground and enjoyed the traditional food of the day, eating and singing all day long.
Την καθαρά Δευτέρα ο κόσμος εξορμούσαν στην ύπαιθρο σε μεγάλες παρέες και διασκέδαζαν μέχρι αργά το απόγευμα. Άπλωναν στο έδαφος τα τραπεζομάντηλα με τα νηστήσιμα φαγητά της ημέρας και αραδιάζονταν γύρω γύρω τρωγοπίνοντας και τραγουδώντας.
