Description
The Palace of the Holly Bishopric of Morphou has been converted by the Turks into a museum of antiquities and stuffed animals. Many of the ancient items originate from illegal excavations and private collections of Greek-Cypriots, stolen after 1974.
Το Μέγαρο της Ιεράς Μητροπόλεως Μόρφου έχει μετατραπεί από τους Τούρκους σε μουσείο αρχαιοτήτων και ταριχευμένων ζώων. Πολλά από τα αρχαία αντικείμενα προέρχονται από παράνομες ανασκαφές και ιδιωτικές συλλογές Ελληνοκυπρίων που κλάπηκαν μετά το 1974.
