Saint Neophytos the Recluse is depicted with long beard, his head is adorned with a silver halo and he is invested with the Great Scheme of the Monk in his inner garments, bearing the Cross and the letters INBI in Greek. With his right hand he holds a Cross in silver and a rosary. With his left hand holds a codex with a text from his Ridual Ordinance of 1214. This icon is found on a ''throne'' on the nave part of the iconostasis of the Katholikon. It was created during the abbotship of Gregory in 1856. The icon is an offering by Archimandrite Ioannikios in 1806. Dimensions 114 x 73 cm. Painted by the Cretan Ioannis Cornaros.

Ο Άγιος Νεόφυτος ο Έγκλειστος εικονίζεται με μακριά γενειάδα, περιβάλλεται με ασημένιο φωτοστέφανο και διακρίνεται το αγγελικό σχήμα (τα διακριτικά του Μεγάλου Σχήματος) στα εσωτερικά ενδύματά του, με τον Σταυρό και το ΙΝΒΙ. Με το δεξί του χέρι κρατά Σταυρό ασημένιο και ένα κομβολόγιο, ενώ με το αριστερό κρατά ειλητάριο με επιγραφή από την Τυπική Διαθήκη . Η μεγάλη αυτή εικόνα ευρίσκεται σε ''θρόνο'' στο μεσαίο τμήμα του εικονοστασίου του Καθολικού που κατασκευάστηκε επί Ηγουμένου Γρηγορίου το 1856 . Η εικόνα είναι αφιέρωμα του Αρχιμανδρίτου Ιωαννικίου το 1806. Διαστάσεις 114 x 73 cm. Έργον του Κρητικού ζωγράφου Ιωάννη Κορνάρου.
