Description
In the niche of the south aisle in the Bema of the Katholikon an Angel is depicted serving the Holy Communion and holding the body of Christ ( Melismos) on a purple cloth. On the right of the niche is painted a candle and above it there is an inscription concerning Christ- Melismos.
Άγγελος που υπηρετεί τα Άχραντα Μυστήρια, κρατά τον Αμνό - μελισμό σε πορφυρό ύφασμα. Τοιχογραφία σε ημικυκλική αχιβάδα, στο νότιο κλίτος του Ιερού Βήματος του Καθολικού. Δεξιά της αχιβάδας είναι ζωγραφισμένη λαμπάδα και πάνω απ' αυτή επιγραφή που αναφέρεται στο Χριστό - Μελισμό.
