Description
Christ stands at the back of the table of the Last Supper, holding a Chalice with which he offers the Wine to the first Apostle who is followed by five others. Above Christ there is the inscription : " Drink it all of you for this is my blood of the New Testament which is shed for many for the remission of sins ". The wall - painting is located on the apse of the Bema in the Katholikon.
Ο Χριστός πίσω από το τραπέζι του Μυστικού Δείπνου, κρατά το Ποτήριον με το οποίο προσφέρει το Αίμα στον πρώτο Απόστολο που ακολουθείται απο άλλους πέντε. Ένας Άγγελος κρατά εξαπτέρυγο. Πάνω από το κεφάλι του Χριστού αρχίζει η φράση "ΠΙΕΙΤΕ ΕΞ ' ΑΥΤΟΥ ΑΠΑΝΤΕΣ ΤΟΥΤΟ ΕΣΤΙ ΤΟ ΑΙΜΑ ΜΑΟΥ ΤΟ ΤΗΣ ΚΑΙΝΗΣ ΔΙΑΘΗΚΗΣ ΤΟ ΥΠΕΡ ΥΜΩΝ ΚΑΙ ΠΟΛΛΩΝ ΕΚΧΥΝΟΜΕΝΟΝ ΕΙΣ ΑΦΕΣΙΝ ΑΜΑΡΤΙΩΝ ".
