Description
On the east wall above the Altar, Virgin Mary on a frontal position, stands with her hands raised at the sides, as she would be painted in the semidome of a normal apse. She is surrounded by officiating bishops. On the left Saint John Chrysostom and on the right Saints Basil, Epiphanius and Nicholas (Nikolaos).
Στον ανατολικό τοίχο πάνω από την Αγία Τράπεζα, η Παναγία σε μετωπική στάση και με τα χέρια ανοικτά, ελλείψει αψίδας στο Ιερό Βήμα, πλαισιώνεται από ιερουργούντες επισκόπους, τον Άγιο Ιωάννη Χρυσόστομο στα αριστερά και τους Αγίους Βασίλειο, Επιφάνιο και Νικόλαο στα δεξιά.
