Description
Christ is depicted standing over the smashed Gates of Hell and pulling Adam with his left hand in order to resurrect him. Eve is depicted behind Adam. On the left of Christ, the prophets David, Solomon and John the Baptist are painted coming out of the same sarcophagus. The wall - painting is found inside the tomb of Saint Neophytos.
Ο Χριστός εικονίζεται να πατά πάνω στις σπασμένες Πύλες του Άδη και να τραβά με το δεξί χέρι τον Αδάμ για να τον αναστήσει. Πίσω από τον Αδάμ εικονίζεται η Εύα. Αριστερά του Χριστού, εικονίζονται μέσα στην ίδια σαρκοφάγο οι προφήτες Δαβίδ, Σολομών και Ιωάννης ο Πρόδρομος. Η τοιχογραφία της Ανάστασης βρίσκεται εντός του τάφου του Αγίου Νεοφύτου.
