Description

"Greek was the language I was given. My humble home was on the beaches of Homer’s Iliad where my only concern was the language". (Odysseas Elytis, winner of the Nobel Prize for literature, 1979) Claude Fauriel, Professor of Southern European Languages and Literature at the Sorbonne, wrote in his work "Chant Populaire de la Grece Moderne 1824" that the Greek language is homogeneous just as German but richer; it has the clarity of French, is more versatile than Italian and more harmonic than Spanish.
It can therefore be considered as the most beautiful language of Europe.
