Description
The Akamas peninsula, the land west of the village of Polis awaits to be discovered. It is the best unspoilt coastal area of Cyprus; a place of wild beauty and turtle breeding beaches and a great variety of flora and fauna. Its breathtaking scenery, its rugged coastline and azure blue sea simply captivate the sightseer. The Logger head and Green turtles are protected species. Their nesting beaches are at Lara and on the western coast. Here too are located the Baths of Aphrodite and tourists frequently never miss coming to see this enchanting spot where legend says the Goddess used to meet the youths.
