Description
On December 10th 1948 the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted and proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Member countries were to publicize, disseminate and display the text of the Declaration and expound it in schools and institutions. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the adoption and declaration of Human Rights, 1968 was declared as the International Year of Human Rights.
