Nicetas is the saint who is depicted on the eastern side of the soffit of the blind arch in the north-western corner of the naos.

Four medallions containing the busts of martyrs and a gemmed cross-monogram were painted on the central part of the soffit of the south-western recess of the naos. The martyrs from left to right are: Bacchus, Sergius, Florus and Laurus.

The figure on the lower eastern zone of the soffit of the blind south-western arch of the naos illustrates Saint Thecla and is also dated to the original fresco programme of the church.
