Description
Ring-base; squat, piriform body; rather tall, concave neck; splaying rim; handle from rim to shoulder. Hard, pinkish buff clay; matt, light beige slip. Lustrous brown paint; one line encircling lower body; two lines encircling upper body; one line encircling base of neck and rim; on shoulder a frieze of chevrons (FM 28:17) alternating with circular ‘sea-anemones’ ( FM 27). Handle painted.
