Description

Flat base; shallow body; plain rim; two knobbed, horizontal handles at rim. Hard pinkish buff clay; matt light buff slip; matt, dark reddish brown and dark-grey paint. Base: central red and black concentric lines; from this centre radiate four red, black-bordered M-ornaments with lattice mid-triangles, alternating with four bands of bordered zigzag lines. Inside: encircling lines on mid-body and bottom; bottom painted; rim and handles painted.

Within the framework of collaboration between Världskulturmuseerna and the UNESCO Chair on Digital Cultural Heritage at Cyprus University of Technology, the digitization of a substantial portion of the Cypriot collection at Stockholm's Medelhavsmuseet Museum has been accomplished.
