Ceramics

Conical base with conical cavity underneath. Short stem with encircling mid-ridge. Conical lower and mid-body. Cylindrical upper body. Sharp rim. Round, horizontal handles on mid-body. Inside decoration; six concentric circles on bottow. Twelve lines encircling mid-body. Band and six lines encircling upper body. Outside; two lines encircling upper body. Three groups of five concentric circles, with disc inxide, on either side of mid-body. Eleven lines encircling mid-body. Seven lines encircling lower body. Encircling line on either side of ridge. Base painted. Outside of handles painted. Handles framed by vertical bands. Transverse strokes and four concentric circles under base. Light buff clay. Semi-lustrous, buff to brownish black slip. Matt, black paint.

Within the framework of collaboration between Världskulturmuseerna and the UNESCO Chair on Digital Cultural Heritage at Cyprus University of Technology, the digitization of a substantial portion of the Cypriot collection at Stockholm's Medelhavsmuseet Museum has been accomplished.
