Abstract

There are two kinds of eclipses, the Lunar and the Solar. The Solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth, blocking the sunlight to reach the Earth. The Lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth passes between the Sun and the Moon, blocking the sunlight to reach the Moon. These phenomena are predicted by the Antikythera Mechanism.
