Description
Climbing in Cyprus is becoming more and more popular as it offers closeness to nature as well as the rewards of physical effort and achievement. Traditional climbing, bouldering and sport climbing (bolted routes) can be practised on the island. Three locations are particularly suitable for rock climbing, such as the “Eagle Rock”, near the villages of Ineia and Drousheia, 30 km north of Pafos town, the “Chassamboulia” rock in the Valley of the Diarizos River in Pafos district and Cavo Gkreko in Agia Napa area.
Η Ορειβασία στην Κύπρο γίνεται όλο και πιο δημοφιλής. Τρεις τοποθεσίες είναι ιδιαίτερα κατάλληλες για ορειβασία όπως οι 'Αετόπετρες' κοντά στα χωριά Ίνια και Δρούσεια, ο βράχος 'Χασαμπουλιά' στην κοιλάδα του Διαρίζου και στο Κάβο Γκρέκο στην Αγία Νάπα.
