Description
The interior of the church was probably painted with murals of the 17th century, as evidenced by the only surviving mural of Archangel Michael. The chapel was fully decorated with murals by painter father Evangelos Yiallourides and members of his workshop after its restoration in 1995. The only surviving mural as it is today after the maintenance of Kyriakos Papaioakim and Costas Gerasimou.
Το εσωτερικό του ναού πιθανόν να ήταν ιστορημένο με τοιχογραφίες του 17ου αιώνα, όπως μαρτυρεί η μοναδική σωζόμενη τοιχογραφία του Αρχαγγέλου Μιχαήλ. Το παρεκκλήσιο αγιογραφήθηκε πλήρως με την αποκατάστασή του από τον αγιογράφο πατέρα Ευάγγελο Γιαλλουρίδη και το εργαστήρι του. Η μοναδική σωζόμενη αυτή τοιχογραφία όπως είναι σήμερα μετά τη συντήρησή της από τους Κυριάκο Παπαϊωακείμ και Κώστα Γερασίμου.
