Description
Capital column / pillar that supports the arches of two successive arches in front of the Cultural Centre of the Municipality, the only public traditional stone building located in the Municipality (in addition to the two churches in the region) and it was the old elementary school of residents of that time. At these characteristics of the building was based the new logo of the municipality during its launch in 1986. It includes the element of traditional building arch area, the dove - a symbol of hospitality and peace, and the traditional stone.
Kιονόκρανο κολώνας/ κίονα που υποστηρίζει τα τόξα δύο συνεχομένων καμάρων στην πρόσοψη του Πολιτιστικού Κέντρου του Δήμου, του μοναδικού δημοσίου παραδοσιακού πετρόκτιστου κτίσματος που βρίσκεται στην περιοχή του Δήμου (πέραν των δύο εκκλησιών της περιοχής) και αποτελούσε στα παλιά χρόνια το Δημοτικό Σχολείο των κατοίκων της τότε εποχής. Σ΄αυτά τα χαρακτηριστικά του κτίσματος βασίστηκε και το λογότυπο του δήμου κατά τη δημιουργία του το 1986. Περιλαμβάνει το στοιχείο της καμάρας παραδοσιακού κτίσματος της περιοχής, το περιστέρι – σύμβολο της φιλοξενίας και της ειρήνης, και την παραδοσιακή πέτρα.
