Description
Tefkros Anthias (1903-1968) was a novelist, a journalist and one of the most prominent 20th Century poets of Cyprus. He is well known for his collection of poems "" The Whistles of the Vagrant"". He worked as a primary school teacher both in Cyprus and in Greece and later settled in London where he continued to write folk poems, play, novels, and children's books.
