Stone brick ovens that were in every courtyard in olden times in the village of Agios Athanasios.

The First Primary School in Agios Athanasios was built in 1960. Previously the church and the old primary school which is now the Municipal Cultural Center, were used as classrooms.

“Resi” was prepared in large quantities so as to be offered to all guests present in the feast that followed the wedding ceremony which lasted for three whole days in the mid 60’s.
