This stone inscription commemorates the date of construction of an edifice by Abbot Iacovos Miriantheus. It is placed on the wall between the archades of the dining room of the monastery but does not belong to that edifice.

The hand-grinder was used mainly for wheat in producing flour. The upper slab was slowly gliding on the lower slab and wheat was being inserted from the hole in the middle.

Ornamental parapet with cross relief with the initials JESUS CHRIST IS VICTORIUS (ΙΣ ΧΣ ΝΙ ΚΑ)

Excellent work of stone in huge dimensions. Its use is unknown in the garden of the Monastery.
