Lefkara lace embroidery, known as Lefkaritiko, is one of the most distinctive crafts of Cyprus. It is the best known in Cypriot embroidery. Its name derives from the village of Lefkara, the village where it was first developed.

Pipilla, knoted lace, has a special place among the Cypriot folk art. It's a rich artistic expression, made exclusively with the use of needle and thread.

Pottery as a profession appeared in Cyprus in the early Neolithic Period. With the appearance of pottery, the Cypriot craftsman used the plasticity of the clay, collection it from local surroundings, to create domestic utensils for everyday use.
