This Arc-base never completed was the foundation of the external narthex to the Katholicon, the main church of the monastery. It is located at the south-west corner of the church

This wall-painting is part of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary. It is found in the Bema right and above the entrance to the Enkleistra. Archangel Gabriel with open wings raises his right hand and blesses Virgin Mary.
