Είναι τρίκλιτη σταυροειδής βασιλική με κεντρικό τρούλο. Κτίστηκε την περίοδο 1954-1958 στην θέση παλαιότερης ξυλόστεγης εκκλησίας που υπήρχε στον ίδιο χώρο. Τα εγκαίνια της εκκλησίας τελέστηκαν το 1970 από τον Μητρο-πολίτη Κιτίου Άνθιμο. Ο σκελετός της εκκλησίας είναι από οπλισμένο σκυρόδεμα και οι τοιχοποιίες είναι κτισμένες με άσπρη πέτρα Λεμεσού η οποία έχει σουβα-τιστεί τόσο εσωτερικά όσο και εξωτερικά. Στις δύο γωνίες της δυτικής όψης της εκκλησίας ορθώνονται 2 επιβλητικά καμπαναριά. Η βάση τους είναι τετράγωνη και ανέρχονται περίπου στο ίδιο ύψος με τον τρούλο. Η τελευταία στάση έχει σε κάθε πλευρά 3 αψίδες επί κυκλικών κολόνων από μωσαϊκό. Η στέψη γίνεται με τετράριχτη πλάκα σε σχήμα σταυρού. Σταυροειδές σχήμα έχουν και οι κεντρικές στέγες της εκκλησίας οι οποίες είναι όλες επενδυμένες πήλινο κεραμίδι γαλλικού τύπου. Στο κέντρο των σταυρόσχημων στεγών ορθώνεται ο τρούλος επί κυκλικού τυμπάνου. Η στέψη του τρούλου γίνεται με ημισφαιρικό κέλυφος επικα-λυμμένο με πήλινο κεραμίδι βυζαντινού τύπου. Εσωτερικά η στέψη των κεντρικών κεραιών είναι με καμάρες σε σχήμα σταυρού οι οποίες ενώνονται στο κέντρο με τον τρούλο. Η στέγαση των πλαϊνών κλιτών είναι με επίπεδες πλάκες. Στην δυτική πλευρά της εκκλησίας υπάρχει πλάκα γυναικωνίτη η οποία εκτείνεται σε σχήμα Π και φθάνει μέχρι το μέσο της νότιας και βόρεια πλευράς. Στο δυτικό τμήμα του γυναικωνίτη υπάρχει ξύλινη κατασκευή εξέδρας. Η εκκλησία έχει τρείς κεντρικές εισόδους στο μέσο του νότιου, βόρειου και δυτικού τοίχου. Και στις τρείς εισόδους υπάρχουν στεγασμένα προπύλαια με αψίδες και κυκλικές κολώνες από μωσαϊκό. Το δάπεδο της εκκλησίας εσωτερικά είναι από Ελληνικά και Ιταλικά μάρμαρα με ωραία πολύχρωμα σχέδια. Ο σολέας είναι υπερυψωμένος 2 σκαλοπάτια από τον κ. ναό και το ιερό βήμα είναι υπερυψωμένο 1 σκαλοπάτι πάνω από τον σολέα. Το Ιερό βήμα διαχωρίζεται με ξύλινο σκαλιστό τέμπλο το οποίο κατασκευάστηκε το 1981 από τον Χρύσανθο Ταλιαδώρο. Στην Νοτιοδυτική και στην βορειοδυτική πλευρά της εκκλησίας υπάρχουν 2 παρεκκλήσια το ένα αφιερωμένο στον άγιο Αθανάσιο και το άλλο αφιερωμένο στον άγιο Τυχικό. Η εκκλησία σήμερα είναι πλήρως αγιογραφημένη με ωραίες τοιχογραφίες. Στον τρούλο δεσπόζει ο παντοκράτορας. Στην κόγχη του ιερού ιστορείται η πλατυτέρα ενώ στον υπόλοιπο ναό υπάρχουν παραστάσεις από την ζωή και τα θαύματα του Χριστού και μορφές πολλών αγίων της εκκλησίας μας.
