Το κουρείο βρισκόταν στη γωνία των οδών Αθηνών και Σαριπόλου.
Στα αριστερά της φωτογραφίας απεικονίζεται ο ιδιοκτήτης του κουρείου, Ττοφής, και δίπλα δυο φίλοι του. Ο τρίτος απο αριστερά αναγνωρίζεται ως ο Πάγκαλος, ράπτης υποκαμίσων, ο οποίος είχε το κατάστημά του δίπλα απο το κουρείο του Ττοφή.
Στα μέσα του 20ου αιώνα, τα κουρεία λειτουργούσαν και ως novelty shops δηλ. σαν μικρά καταστήματα που πωλούσαν καλλυντικά για άνδρες, γραβάτες, τσιγάρα κ.ά. Επίσης στα κουρεία υπήρχε η συνήθεια να βρίσκεται εκεί ένα μαντολίνο, το οποίο συνόδευε την ιεροτελεστία του κουρέματος ενός άνδρα.
The barber shop was located on the corner of Athinon and Saripolou streets. On the photograph, Ttofis (far left) is pictured along with his two friends. The third man from left standing is Pangalos, shirt maker, who had his business next to the barber shop of Ttofis. During the mid-20th century, barber shops operated also as novelty shops, i.e. small gift shops selling fragrances for men, ties, tobacco etc. In addition, at the barber shops there was the tradition for a mandolin player to be present who accompanied the barber while he was working.

Description
An account of the resource
Kolossi castle is a medieval castle built in the 15th century A.D. It is also known as Koulas. The donjon lies in the vicinity of the village of the same name in the south-western outskirts of Limassol. The plain on which the castle is located is one of the agriculturally richest regions of the island from which the renowned Commandaria comes from. The order of Saint John, the owners of the castle, initiated the production of the wine which reached even north-European royal courts. The castle constitutes one of the most important building works of the Frankish period (A.D. 1191-1489). Its services were multi-faceted throughout the centuries including being: the main residence of the Grand Commander and the administrative centre of the Order; the estates’ nucleus for the production of sugar and other products of the region; the domination symbol of the Hospitallers; a storage house; water features; and viewpoints. Before the erection of the current castle, a quadrangular curtain wall with supporting rooms on the west side, related to the refinement of sugar, must occupied the area. However, the keep which one can see today was built in the 1450s by Louis de Magnac, the General Commander of the Hospitallers in Cyprus. The fortress is an enormous square, well-built, three-story edifice, built from local limestone ashlar blocks. The castle is one of the most photographed monuments, adorning postcards, postage stamps, gravures and other media. Today the castle is open to the public to visit as a sightseeing.
Το κάστρο Κολοσσίου είναι Μεσαιωνικό φρούριο το οποίο χρονολογείται στον 15ο αιώνα μ.Χ. και οικοδομήθηκε με χορηγία του Louis de Magnac, Μεγάλου Μαγίστρου του Τάγματος των Ιωαννιτών Ιπποτών. Το φρούριο ονομάζεται και Κούλας και βρίσκεται σε μια από τις πιο εύφορες πεδιάδες του νησιού, στα νοτιο-δυτικά της πόλης της Λεμεσού στην οποία έδρευε η Commanderie – Ανώτατη Στρατιωτική Διοίκηση - των Ιωαννιτών Ιπποτών, από την οποία εξέλαβε και το όνομά του το περίφημο κρασί Κουμανταρία.
Το κάστρο αποτελεί ένα από τα πιο σημαντικά οικοδομήματα της Φραγκικής περιόδου (A.D. 1191-1489) και κατά τη διάρκεια των αιώνων είχε αρκετές και διαφορετικές χρήσεις όπως η κύρια κατοικία του Μεγάλου Μαγίστρου και το διοικητικό κέντρο του Τάγματος, κέντρο παραγωγής ζάχαρης και άλλων προϊόντων της περιοχής, σύμβολο κυριαρχίας των Ιωαννιτών Ιπποτών, αποθηκευτικοί χώροι, δεξαμενές νερού και παρατηρητήριο.
Το κάστρο αποτελεί ένα απο τα πιο πολυφωτογραφημένα μνημεία του νησιού, διακοσμώντας καρτ-ποστάλ, γραμματόσημα, γκραβούρες και άλλα μέσα. Σήμερα το κάστρο είναι ανοικτό προς επίσκεψη από το κοινό.

Abstract
A summary of the resource.
Orthophotography drawings of the Kolossi Castle. The data process of the laser scanner allows us to generate a point cloud. Then, the point cloud results are been imported in Autodesk Revit program allowing to the creation of a virtual building representation. Finally, the results of the 3D environment are been presented in architectural orthophotography images such us plans, elevations and sections.
Δισδιάστατες ορθοφωτογραφίες του Κάστρου Κολοσσίου. Τα δεδομένα που παράγονται από τον σαρωτή λέιζερ τυγχάνουν επεξεργασίας και δημιουργούν το τρισδιάστατο νέφος σημείων. Στην συνέχεια, τα σημεία εισάγονται στο πρόγραμμα Autodesk Revit όπου δημιουργείται η ψηφιακή αναπαράσταση του Κάστρου. Τέλος, τα αποτελέσματα της επεξεργασίας παρουσιάζονται σε αρχιτεκτονικά σχέδια κάτοψης, όψης και τομής.

Οι συγκεκριμένες παίκτριες κατείχαν αμυντική θέση. Ανάμεσά τους αναγνωρίζεται η τερματοφύλακας της ομάδας, Αλεξάνδρα Κοκκινή (ιστάμενη, πρώτη απο δεξιά) και μερικές Αγγλίδες παίκτριες.
This group of female players had the role of defenders. Among them Alexandra Kokkini (back row, first from right) is recognised who was the goalkeeper of the team and, also, a few English players.

Η Αλεξάνδρα Κοκκινή είναι η πρώτη γυναίκα τερματοφύλακας της Κύπρου, η οποία ανήκε στην ποδοσφαιρική ομάδα "ΘΥΕΛΛΑ" Αμμοχώστου. Χαρακτηριστκό περιστατικό σε προπόνησή της ήταν το γεγονός ότι από λάθος δέχθηκε δυνατό κτύπημα στην περιοχή του λάρυγγα απο τον πατέρα της που ήταν και προπονητής της, λέγοντας ο ίδιος ότι ο τρόπος που απέκρουσε την μπάλα του θύμισε τον κορυφαίο τερματοφύλακα της Νέας Σαλαμίνας, Βαρνάβα Χριστοφή. Η Αλεξάνδρα χαρακτηρίστηκε ως 'αγριόγρατα' λόγω των ελάχιστων περιπτώσεων όπου δέχθηκε τέρμα.
Alexandra Kokkini is the first woman goalkeeper of Cyprus, who belonged to the "THYELLA" football team of Famagusta. A characteristic incidence took place while she was trained by her father as a coach. Ηe accidentally hit her on the neck area and while she attempted to catch the ball, she reminded him of a renowned Cypriot goalkeeper, Varnavas Christophi. Alexandra had the nickname 'wildcat' due to her talent to clear off the ball most of the times.
