A web portal for non government organizations (NGO'S)
Abstarct:Rapid diffusion of web browsers in the mid-1990s, led many companies to acquire a portal, in order to have a piece of Internet market. The results of the increasing demand were the web portal to be a hot commodity.
Basically web portal is a web site that provided as a starting point, gateway to resources on Internet or an lntranet. The main difference from a common web site is that portals consist of a number of sites. Portals information gathered and categorized their belonging sites based on their properties. For most of the companies or organizations is a way of providing to the users the opportunity of being active part, news updated, and to navigate through the internet without wasting their time in searching.
The main purpose of this project is the investigation and implementation of a Web Portal for Non-Government Organizations. Nowadays many organizations try to be active part in the society with their expectations to reach the promotion of different services to the citizens through a wide variety of services at all levels. The main aim of the Web Portal is to provide to the users and the members of the NGO's the facilities, services and convenience in the communication and coordination that a well organized organization provide to its members and its member ask for.
