The church is a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site. The church of Agios Irakleidios was built in the 11th century while its frescoes date to the 13th and 16th century. The templon is particularly interesting, covered with gargoyles, including a heraldic Lusignan lion and Byzantine eagle. The church of Agios Ioannis Lambadistis was built in 1731. The saint’s tomb, which dates to the 12th century, can be found under the narrow northeastern arch and the saint’s skull lies in a niche. The icon of Lambadistis dates to 1543. A very interesting Byzantine museum can be seen near the church.The Latin Chapel contains the most complete series of Italo- Byzantine paintings in Cyprus. Η σημερινή εκκλησία τουΆγιου Ιωάννη του Λαμπαδιστή είναι ένα σύμπλεγμα εκκλησιών. Των Aγ. Iωάννη Λαμπαδιστή, Αγίου Ηρακλειδίου, και ενός λατινικού παρεκκλησίου. Αρχικά το σύμπλεγμα αυτό λειτουργούσε σαν μοναστήρι. Τα τρία οικοδομήματα βρίσκονται κάτω από μια ξύλινη στέγη. Η εκκλησία πελιλαμβάνεται στον κατάλογο παγκόσμιας κληρονομιάς της ΟΥΝΕΣΚΟ. Η εκκλησία του Αγίου Ηρακλειδίου κτίστηκε τον 11ο αιώνα και οι τοιχογραφίες που διασώζονται χρονολογούνται τον 13ο και 16ο αιώνα. Ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον παρουσιάζει το τέμπλο του ναού όπου απεικονίζονται τερατόμορφ ζώα και ανάμεσά τους σε εραλδική στάση ο Λουζινιανός λέοντας και ο Βυζαντινός αετός. Η εκκλησία του Αγίου Ιωάννη του Λαμπαδιστή κτίστηκε το 1731. Ο τάφος του Αγίου που χρονολογείται τον 12ο αιώνα βρίσκεται στην βορειοανατολική στενή αψίδα και σε μια κόγχη φυλάσσεται το κρανίο του Αγίου. Η εικόνα του Λαμπαδιστή χρονολογείται στο 1543. Κοντά στην εκκλησία υπάρχει ένα πολύ ενδιαφέρον Βυζαντινό μουσείο. Το Λατινικό Παρεκκλήσι περιέχει την πιο ολοκληρωμένη σειρά ιταλοβυζαντινών εικόνων στην Κύπρο.
