On the left-hand side of the photograph the great-grandmother of Astero, Elisavet, is depicted, while in the centre is her grandmother, Eleni and on the right-hand side is Paraskevou. Paraskevou's husband, Nikolas, worked as a forester at the Department of Forests. Nikolas studied in Beirut, Lebanon, a fact that till today his descendent, Niki Shiakalli mentions. During those times, only a few people had the chance to study abroad. The pictured women come form Niki's Shiakali family (Astero's mother).
