Τα Γυμνάσια Μόρφου είχαν λαμπρή παράδοση στο ανέβασμα αρχαίων τραγωδιών στο αρχαίο θέατρο των Σόλων. Στην τραγωδία 'Αντιγόνη', Ουρανία Οικονόμου Γαβριηλίδου υποδύθηκε την κεντρική ηρωίδα αλλά συνέβαλε και στον σχεδιασμό των σκηνικών. Η Τούλα Θρασυβούλου υποδύθηκε την Ισμήνη.
Morphou Highschools had a tradition in playing drama plays. Regarding the 'Antigone' drama, Ourania Economou Gavrielidou, from Lefka village, played the role of Antigone and she also participated in the designing of the stage set. Toula Thrasyvoulou played the role of Ismene.
