Ο Μιχαλάκης και η Ελένη Χατζηκώστα χορεύουν τον πρώτο τους χορό στο γλέντι του αρραβώνα τους στο χωριό Τύμπου της επαρχίας Λευκωσίας. Σύμφωνα με την παράδοση, στον αρραβώνα του ζευγαριού λάμβανε χώρα το έθιμο του πλουμίσματος, όπου γονείς και φίλοι στερέωναν στο σκούφωμά τους αρμαθιές από χαρτονομίσματα. Η Ελένη φέρει κορώνα στο κεφάλι και κοντό φόρεμα σύμφωνα με τις τάσεις της εποχής. Δυστυχώς, η Τουρκική εισβολή, το 1974, προκάλεσε τον ξεριζωμό και την προσφυγοποίηση της οικογένειας Χατζηκώστα, η οποιά ανάμεσα στα πράγματα που άφησε πίσω ήταν και η συγκεκριμένη κορώνα.
