Υιός φτωχής πολυμελούς οικογένειας του παπα-Χριστόδουλου Βασιλείου και της Χριστίνας. Παντρεύτηκε την Θέκλα Αντώνη Σάββα (Μάστρε Αντωνής). Γαλουχημένος στα εθνικά και θρησκευτικά ιδεώδη, απο πολύ νωρίς στα 18 του χρόνια κατετάγη στον Β' Παγκόσμιο Πόλεμο στις 10 Δεκεμβρίου 1940 και ενεγράφη στο Κυπριακό Σύνταγμα με αριθμό CY 15654. Στον πόλεμο συνελήφθη αιχμάλωτος στην Ελλάδα και μεταφέρθηκε στη Γερμανία και απελύθη κατά τη λήξη του πολέμου. Ήταν ο πρώτος απο το χωριό που εντάχθηκε στις τάξεις των αγωνιστών της ΕΟΚΑ, τον Νοέμβριο του 1954 και απο τους πρώτους της περιοχής Πιτσιλιάς, έφερε δε το ψευδώνυμο 'Κολοκοτρώνης'. Στην οικία του έμενε ο Αρχηγός Διγενής και απο εκεί διεύθυνε τον αγώνα της ΕΟΚΑ, το γνωστό 'Κάστρο του Διγενή'. Ο Θεοδόσης υπήρξε ένας λαμπρός και αγνός αγωνιστής της ελευθερίας. Κατ'αρχάς υπέρ της ελευθερίας των κρατών της Ευρώπης πολεμώντας ως εθελοντής τους Γερμανούς και Ιταλούς στον Β' Παγκόσμιο Πόλεμο και έπειτα ως στέλεχος της ΕΟΚΑ πολεμώντας τους Άγγλους κατακτητές δια την ελευθερία της πατρίδας του. Εντυπωσίαζε πάντοτε για τον μειλίχιο χαρακτήρα του, την ταπεινότητά του, την αγαθότητα του και την ποιότητά του.
