Διακρίνονται δύο επιγραφές στην πρόσοψη του Δημοτικού Σχολείου Λόφου. Υπάρχουν δύο επιγραφές :η μια μαρτυρεί τη χρονολογία ανέγερσης του σχολείου (1917) και η άλλη την χρονολογία αναπαλαίωσης (1998). Το Δημοτικό Σχολείο Λόφου είναι ένα νεοκλασικό κτίσμα του 1917 με τους τέσσερις χαρακτηριστικούς κίονες από πωρόλιθο και το αέτωμα στην κύρια είσοδο του. Η δυτική αίθουσα κτίστηκε το 1937 και το σχολείο έγινε μικτό. Τους περισσότερους μαθητές τους αριθμούσε το 1946 και ήταν 188.Το 1972 το Δημοτικό Σχολείο έκλεισε λόγω της έλλειψης μαθητών. Σήμερα χρησιμοποιείται για διάφορες εκδηλώσεις από την κοινότητα και το Σύνδεσμο Αποδήμων.
