The coating of the temple was restored in 2001, with light colors and gold details at several points. The icons of the temple, all made in bold renaissance features (like almost all the images of the early 20th century) are works of the Cypriot Monks, Niphon and Kyrillos dated 1904. An exception to the above, is the icon of St. Minas on a horseback, painted by Othon Giavopoullos. As can be seen, the church of St. Minas has no murals (other than the apse in the Sanctuary). It is though decorated with beautiful Byzantine icons, which replaced the earlier Renaissance ones. The Holy Spirit rests above, with two angels on either side. At the bottom an oversized eagle symbolizes the power of the Holy Spirit. The pulpit remains in its original form without any alterations, through the ages. The wooden staircase used for access to the pulpit has recently been removed, so as to save space in the nave of the church.
