Η κηδεία του θα γίνει αύριο 13.4 από την εκκλησία Αγίου Νικολάου στη Λεμεσό». Ο Γιαννάκης ήταν γιος του Ανδρέα και της Χριστίνας Πολεμιδιώτη από τη Φασούλα. Γεννήθηκε το 1944 στη Φασούλα και από τα εφηβικά του χρόνια μαθήτευσε και ασχολήθηκε ως οικοδόμος. Το 1961 η δουλειά του τον έφερε με τον εργολάβο στην Κυπερούντα κατά την ανέγερση του νέου Δημοτικού Σχολείου, όπου το πεπρωμένο του έταξε κατά τον γάμο του Κυριάκου Ι. Πελεκάνου «Κότσινου» στις Δύμες να γνωρίσει τη 16χρονη «Χριστούλα του Ανδρέα Βρόντη» και να μείνει μόνιμος εραστής και εκλεκτός πολίτης της Κυπερούντας. Ο γάμος έγινε το 1963. Εκτός από το επάγγελμα του κτίστη ο Γιαννάκης έμαθε νωρίς και την τέχνη του μπουζουκιού, που ήταν τότε νεοφερμένο από την Ελλάδα μουσικό όργανο και στην οποία εξελίχθηκε σε δεξιοτέχνη. Ήταν βασικό μέλος του μουσικού σχήματος αρχικά με τους Νικόλα Προκοπίου στο βιολί, Σταύρο Χρυσάνθου στο ακορντεόν και Χαμπή Ιωάννου-Σίγκερ στα κρουστά. Με τον Γιαννάκη αρχικά και τον νεαρό Σωτήρη Ν. Προκοπίου το μπουζούκι καθιερώθηκε στους γάμους της ευρύτερης περιοχής από τα τέλη της δεκαετίας του ΄60. Αργότερα τον Νικόλα Προκοπίου αντικατέστησε στο βιολί ο Νίκος Χαραλάμπους από τα Χανδριά. Για αρκετά χρόνια η οικογένεια διέμενε στην Κυπερούντα όπου ο Γιαννάκης ασκούσε και τις δυο του δουλειές. Τον Σεπτέμβρη του 1980 ο Γιαννάκης αγόρασε ταξί και μετοίκησε στη Λεμεσό όπου οι ευκαιρίες εργασίας ήταν αυξημένες. Με τη Χριστίνα απέκτησαν δυο παιδιά τη Χρυστάλλα και τον Ανδρέα και 3 εγγόνια (Χριστίνα, Άριστος, Γιάννης). Κατά τα τελευταία 6-7 χρόνια ο Γιαννάκης βασανίστηκε πολύ από δύσκολη μορφή άνοιας, από την οποία και υπέκυψε. Ο Ίσκε ή Σάνγκας, όπως ήταν περισσότερο γνωστός, γεννήθηκε στην Πολιτεία Pundjub [Πενταποταμία] της Ινδίας. Ανδρώθηκε και παντρεύτηκε στην Ινδία, όπου και απέκτησε δυο γιους, που βρίσκονται στην Αμερική. Στη συνέχεια εργάστηκε για αρκετά χρόνια ως ναυτικός, μέχρι που η roda του πλοίου τον φέρνει περί το 1980 στη Λεμεσό και το 1982 τον βρίσκουμε να εργάζεται στον εκ Μονιάτη Γιάλλουρο, που του προξένεψε την Κυπερουντιώτισσα Κυριακού Βασίλη Ξενοφώντος, η οποία τότε εργαζόταν στο Τρόοδος, Παντρεύτηκαν τον Σεπτέμβρη του 1983 στην Αγια-Μαρίνα και ο Σάνγκας πολιτογραφήθηκε Κυπερουντιώτης. Με την Κυριακή απέκτησαν 4 γιους, όλους στη δεκαετία του 1980: Χρίστο, Στέλιο, Βασίλη και Αντώνη, καθώς και ένα εγγόνι την Παναγιώτα. Ο Ίσκε εργάστηκε κατά διαστήματα είτε ως φορτηγατζής στον Α. Μάντη, είτε στο φράγμα Άλασσας, στο ξενοδοχείο Παπαπέτρου στο Τρόοδος, ως πλανόδιος πωλητής στα πανηγύρια, ως μαγαζάτορας souvenir στο Τρόοδος (η σύζυγος του), ως μαγαζάτορας δώρων-παιγνιδιών στην Κυπερούντα κ.τ.λ. Τα τελευταία λίγα χρόνια έπαθε μερική αναπηρία και φιλοξενούταν σε γηροκομείο της Λευκωσίας. Από συσσωρευμένα προβλήματα υγείας αδυνάτισε η καρδία του και υπέκυψε στις 22.3.2018 και κηδεύτηκε από την εκκλησία της Αγίας Μαρίνας στις 24.3.2018 στην Κυπερούντα.
