Στη φωτογραφία διακρίνονται μαθητές της σχολής να χορεύουν φορώντας τη κυπριακή φορεσιά με τη βράκα, το γιλέκκο και τις ποδίνες. Η Κυπριακή βράκα φοριόταν παλιότερα από τους Κυπρίους ως ένδειξη ανδρισμού και λεβεντιάς. Η βράκα δεν πρέπει να είναι κοντή, ούτε να ογκώνει πίσω, αλλά να συντελεί στην εμφάνιση λυγερής κορμοστασιάς του χορευτή. Το γιλέκκο πρέπει να καλύπτει το κορμί του χορευτή ως τη μέση, ώστε να φθάνει ως το άνω μέρος της βράκας. Οι ποδίνες δεν πρέπει να είναι κοντές αλλά πάνω από το γόνατο και να εφαρμόζουν στο πόδι. Στη φωτογραφία διακρίνονται οι Χριστοδούλου Άριστος, Μιχαήλ Μιχάλης, Καλογήρου Γιώργος και Χ'' Φαίδωνος Μιχάλης, μαθητές της Απεητείου Ανωτέρας Σχολής, να παίζουν παραδοσιακά όργανα όπως βιολί και λαούτο. Το λαούτο είναι έγχορδο κυπριακό μουσικό όργανο που έχει τέσσερα ζεύγη χορδών και παίζεται με πέννα κατασκευασμένη από φτερό αετού. Μερικά από τα τραγούδια της εκδήλωσης ήταν η Πορτοκαλιά του Καραβά, Αγάπησα την που καρκιάς, η Δροσούλα, Μεσ΄του Αιγαιου, Το τέρτιν της καρτούλας μου.
